In 2019/2020 I started roleplaying, I came across a group of friends that I had the pleasure of being let into in my first whitelist server. That is where I met Kenny (LegitMike). Probably one of the most humble people I have ever met considering his life situation. Mike kept to himself about anything irl.
Mikes microphone quality had changed about a year or so ago when I linked back up with them after going separate ways a few years ago after a server shutdown. I didn’t think much of it at the time but a few months later we had found out he was roleplaying on a laptop in a hospital bed.. Mike had an accident in his early years that left him wheel chair bound and was causing all kinds of issues his whole life. We had no idea..
In January of this year, I got a DM from a very good friend that was also apart of our group. Saying that Mike had passed away in October of last year.. To say I was crushed by the news of someone passing that I had never met irl, is something I will never understand…
We have all been there, when we first join a roleplay server and had no idea what we were doing. Kenny/Mike was one of the first ppl that helped me get over that and just have a good time. I’ve been in FiveM since 2020 and can say that I might be addicted. Meeting new ppl and getting to know who they are and where they come from, has fascinated me since I started.
My goal for LegitRP is to provide that opportunity to everyone in this community. Get to know ppl you may have never met irl and make some great memories.
